Malaysia – Christmas is Just Round the Corner (3)

Hi there! I can’t help it but to share the Christmas sights and decorations which I saw in another mall in Malaysia. This one was in Penang. This is a follow up from my previous posting; Malaysia – Christmas is Just Round the Corner (2)

The theme I guess was Candy land. =) Lot of lollipops and also giant ‘candy house’ look with big teddy bears enjoying the ‘candies’.

Malaysia – Christmas is Just Round the Corner (2)

This is my follow up of my post on Malaysia – Christmas is Just Round the Corner (1) . By now, all the shopping malls and shops are in full force and ready for the Xmas shoppers with Xmas song blasting in the background. People busy window  shopping and looking for gifts or items on offers.

This is the final decoration up in one of the biggest shopping mall in South East Asia. Sights of giant ‘hot air balloons’ in the center of the concourse.

Very colourful sight indeed….

They even have wooden rocking horses all around for the kids to sit and ride while their parents take photos.

Christmas is just less than a month away and Malaysians are not missing out on this especially the shopping malls and stalls. Decorations are slowing popping up in pieces while others are in full bloom and ready for the celebration.

The following are photos from a shopping where they are getting ready from Christmas. Not sure what they making but in a few days time we will know

Japan – The Country side of Yamagata Prefecture (4)

Last day in Yamagata. Back to Tokyo then to Narita Airport for the night before catching my flight back home.

A shot from the bullet train going at about 250km/hr or was it 300km/hr. Everything seen to zooming by. Can’t believe the ride was so smooth and quiet inside the Shinkansen.

Final stop was at Tokyo station where I only had an hour to spare before I taking my connecting ride to Narita airport. So where can I go within Tokyo and be back at the Tokyo station in an hour’s time?

By foot.. it would be Ginza district. Yup the most uptown district. Streets were full of neon lights and the crowd everywhere especially at the traffic light junction. Guess it was after working hours and people were rushing back or heading for dinner. Human jam!

Yup… Xmas trees everywhere. Christmas was just round the corner.

I could not see much of Tokyo but at least got a feel of it. Well what can you expect from an hour (or less) by foot. =). Then it was back to the Tokyo station and on my way to Narita Airport to stay at the transit hotel.

My last shot in the next morning of Japan before heading back home.

The sign is clear…. Chinese New Year is near (part 1)

Just after Christmas and New Year celebration around the world, another celebration is coming along at it is the Chinese New Year. Only a month plus away and signs of preparation can be slowly seen all around.

Even M&M is also celebrating the coming Chinese New Year

damn… This is a huge hamper!!

Hampers as gifts. People will buy and give to friends and relatives before the Chinese New Year.

Xmas Shopping – the final rush…

Xmas is just round the corner… to be exact; a week away. People are busy doing last minute shopping. Over here, it is also near the end of the school holidays and parents bringing their children out shopping or to visit places. One of the places would be the mall where you can see also the beautiful decoration for Xmas festive. Shops decorated and the staffs in Xmas costumes serving the customers.

It does bring the Xmas mood and festive to all.

…. Let the countdown begin!!

Xmas feeling is in the air!!

Shopping malls everywhere are ready with their Xmas deco and you can hear the Xmas songs been played and the holiday mood among the shoppers.

There is a mall near my area that has a sweet Xmas deco done with huge candies, cupcakes and lollipops with big snowman.

Giants cakes with chocolate Swiss rolls.

Guess Xmas is getting very commercialize now a days and no more like the old days where it is the mood of Xmas is felt more differently. This is more of my view but I may be wrong.

But again… It is still Xmas and I like to take an early opportunity to wish to all my readers a Merry Xmas & A Happy New Year!!!
