Welcome back!! Hope you like this series so far.
We are nearing the end of the series (but not that near) of this 2 days trips on history (& food too)
Down the alleys of Anping, you can find lots old houses. This one is made of red bricks.
Beautiful painting of Anping Sword Lions wall of the houses.
Another temple in the Anping Old Street
Anping Street map to help you find your way around. It also shows you all the interesting places to visit there.
Long queue for…..?
Dessert time!! Here the menu. What do you like to have?
Me? I had the Anping Black Tofu pudding dessert. Taste? It was yummy. =) Definitely I will have it again if I visited here (Which I did a few months later. More on this in my coming posting)
Interesting so far? If yes, then just bear with me a little longer as we are near the end of this series. Just, keep following me if you haven’t to catch the end of this series.
More? Yup, there more on Amphawa floating market in Thailand. Like it so far?
Anyway, now we heading across the bridge to the other side of the canal to check out the happenings over there.
Sight of an old building as crossing the bridge over the canal.
View from the top of the bridge down to the canal.
More food. Anyone knows what’s this?
There are lots more of food choices here and the other side. Guess there were way too many to choose from (and also limitation to my stomach storage too. =P )
This looks like some sweet dessert.
If any of reader out there who knows what they are, please do be kind enough to educate me as I would like to know their names.
Stay tune for my last part of my Amphawa Floating Market series before I head to my new series. =)
Hi!!! Glad that you are still with me. Let’s move on.
After enjoying the cold taro balls dessert, I headed down to see what at the bottom of the stairs.
Nice architecture of the old buildings along with the lanterns all around.
A lady doing calligraphy …. but if you look carefully, it is actually calligraphy made up of flowers and birds that made up the chinese names.
Another building mix along side with the old.
Old building converted to a restaurant.
More nice structures…..with some modern graffiti on it.
It is really nice place if you love old buildings and tight spaces. Lots of things to see and shoot.
Follow on my last posting on my walk in Jiufen.
