Hi there!! Sorry for slightly late posting on this series. Yup, I was in Taiwan again just last week (for business trip). Guess from the messages on these series that I have gotten, yes, this is indeed an interesting place. Something different from other countries.
So, still in Sihcao park in the Ecological area in Tainan on a canal cruise to see the mangroves.
A slow ride with tour guide explaining on the history and also on the mangroves and the wildlife in this area. Like I mentioned earlier posting, it was explained in Mandarin and also Hokkien (one of the Chinese dialects)

.. maybe not all of them have green leaves.
Anyway, let you enjoy the beautiful pictures. Guess they will tell a whole lot.
At the end of the canal, where the flap gate controlled the coming in from the sea water into the canal.
and…. now we are making a U-turn and heading back.

Yes. Actually it was more beautiful. Guess sometimes, you can’t capture beautiful shot (maybe lighting) with a camera unlike what you see with your own eyes.
Vietnam? That’s another nice country to visit. I have been to Hanoi. (I written on my travel series there last year) Oh yes, it takes lots of guts to cross the street there. LOL!!! Which part do you intend to visit?

Wow, that’s a pretty impressive looking boat ride!
It’s one thing to go somewhere where the tunnel or “feature” is man made, it;s quite another to find somewhere where nature has done it too.
Like many places I have been to, this is definitely somewhere that is better seen in person rather than in photographs, but that said, without the photographs I’d never know that this even existed and the pictures give me a “taste” of the experience and makes me want to add this boat ride to my travel wish list.
The contrast of geen leaves and bare branches makes for great photography too!

Thanks!! This is one of the nicest so far I seen. Cameras aren’t that intelligent as our eyes which can ‘capture’ the beautiful colour of the green leaves. Anyway, look out for my future post on Tainan on the other boat ride but it will not be that soon. Still have lots of travel backlog posting in queue. =P
