Great!! You are still with me. So, let keep moving.
Before moving out from Chikan Tower, below is a snap short of brief history of Chikan Tower at the entrance to Chikan Tower ground.
Anyway moving on, walking nearby, I cant help stopping at the nearest shop for a like meal. Well… this shop looks interesting.
Had Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) for my late lunch
mmmmm.. and this, I cant quite remember. Anyone?
After my meal, I took a walk behind one of the allies near Chikan Tower.
One of the temple behind the lanes; Grand Mazu Temple.
Wow… looks at those giant winter melons!!! Guess they must be in season in Tainan.
Entrance to the Grand Mazu Temple.
Ok.. time to walk out from the ally and keep on exploring Tainan. Remember… stay close with me so that you dun miss out the fun. =)
I still want to go back to Taiwan and visit this place! Ah I miss Taiwan after seeing your photos.
Taiwan is a place that makes you keep coming back for more. I have been to Taiwan more than 10 times for the past 3 years, I cant get enough of it.
Seems like you having a wonderful time 🙂
haha… yup I did and I am going to Tainan and other county again end of this year. =)
I’ll have to ask you for recommendations on places to go! My family and I will be going to Taipei around Christmas time and it will be our first time there.
Sure! no problem. How many days will you be in Taiwan? I can send you a brief itinerary to your email after you inform me the total days you plan to be in Taiwan.
Awesome! We will only be there maybe 2 or 3 nights.
Great pictures! Looks like you had a great time in Tainan!
Thanks!! Yup I did!! =)
Love these pictures. Taiwan is an amazing country, definitely going to miss it. I think the mystery dish is ginger with beef or pork, something similar to this was ordered at dinner last night by my Taiwanese friend.
Thanks!! Yup..you are correct. Although the first sight wasn’t that really appealing but I love it after the 1st bite. =)
