Still with me? Good. Here more pictures of Damnoen Saduak Ratchaburi Floating Market.
Still ‘strolling’ along the canal. As later in the day, traffic does gets really bad. =)
Lots of boat service along the side. In fact, you can stop and get off and visit the stalls. More like a boat stop.
More food…..
even more food…. LOL!!!
Fruits too…
Buy coconut water from the vendor on the boat. Nice to have on a hot day especially if you are in the boat with no covers. =)
Boat driver pedaling the boat along the canal.
Enjoying your ride on the boat so far. Stay on. I have not finished yet. =)
Follow me on my next part.
Lovely visit to a beautiful, vibrant place. So nice to have this river’s eye view, with varied colors and tones.
Yup. It sure is a vibrant place to visit but I guess there are others too which only locals may know. =)
It has a charm all its own.
Leslie
yup. Each country its’ own beauty, =)
These pictures bring back vivid memories of my own trips to similar markets, awesome photos!
thanks!
I visited there last December. All I wanted to do was eating those sold on the boats. Did you visit a temple there?
Yup I also ate a lot. I think I did not but I did visit other temples in Bangkok. Which temple is that? Is it also in Damnoen Saduak?
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to know the temple’s name, but it is located in Damnoen Saduak area, just a little further from the floating market.
Is it the Tree temple @ Samut SongKhram?
No, just travel by boat a little further from floating market. I will tell you later when I know its name.
Did you visit Ayutthaya?
mm.. maybe I did but I did not notice it. No, I did not get to go to Ayutthaya. Maybe another time if I am in Thailand.
I actually missed Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Royal Palace and other Wats in Bangkok due to protests last time, that is why I had the chance to visit Ayutthaya.
Oh.. I did visit the Royal Palace. I will write up on this too. =)
Great.. Waiting to read yours then, and I can decide to visit there without getting lost.. lol 🙂
nice!
Thanks!! More to come….
I love your writing style!
Thanks!! Simple and short. =)
Just like ur title! It’s perfect.
=)
Great post! I love chilling by the more remote floating markets!
Thanks! Look out for my posting soon on another floating market nearby. =)
Cool. Have you been to Amphawa Floating Market? It’s about 90 mins drive out of Bangkok. It’s actually more of a Thai place and kind of comes alive at night. You can actually stay there, which is kind of a neat thing. It’s worth checking out!
Yes. I have been to Amphawa Floating Market. I was there for the evening to enjoy the market. It was superb!!
I know, right! A fraction of the western tourists, and a great evening vibe to make those cold, riverside beers just that much more tasty! lol
haha. yup!! =)
Hi, thank you for liking my post, I’m still trying to navigate and make my layout looking pretty. I really love all your photos, I could almost taste it! 😊 where will you be travelling next?
Thanks!! haha… well it does bring back memories when I look at them again. I will be traveling to Taiwan (again) in 2 wks’ time where I am been 2 wks ago.
Fantastic!! Can’t wait to see more of your adventures 😊
Stay tune….. more series coming. =)
