Taiwan – Kaohsiung; Kai-Xuan Night Market. (5)

Final posting on Kaohsiung’s Kai-Xuan Night Market series. Hope you have enjoyed the earlier 4 part series. If you have missed them, do go back and a have a look. =)

This stall sells what looks like a pan cake but shape like balls. It’s ‘Gai Dan Jei’ or Eggette; ball pancake.

This look like seafood ball with prawn fillings.

Looks like a sushi conveyor belt. They are not selling Japanese sushi but it serves more of Taiwanese items which you can pick from the belt. Imagine a conveyor belt in the night market!!! Interesting right?

Before heading back to the MRT station, stopped at this stall to buy an aloe vera drink. Quite nice but you can taste the slight bitter slimmy sap of the aloe vera. =P

  1. Hey buddy! Thanks for the add. I’ve followed you as well. Seems like you are in Taiwan right now, i was there last year. Awesome place! Keep on blogging!

  2. Oh my god! I used to live there for a while and I went to this night market nearly every night. I just lovedthe takoyaki with benito flakes (I am not sure of the Taiwanese name for it sorry) this market was amazing. I just loved people watching and grazing on all these bite-sized nibblies. Love your post. Are you still there? I wish I was back there now.

  3. I think I will do a post with my own photos of this night market and tag you in there to reference this post!
