mmmm… modern art. What do you think he trying to say?
One more posting on this…….. my last one on his theme ‘Art is rubbish is art’.
That must be so much fun to see in person! Is the bus depot in the city or more removed?
Yup it is fun to see. Yes, the old Hin Bus Depot (converted to an art center) is in the Georgetown. ‘Art is Rubbish is Art’ is over but another art exhibition is coming soon in March till Apr 2014; ‘Think About it’.
I wish we had things like that where I live. Or more things like that, at least. Lovely photos, thank you for sharing!
This is good stuff
Thanks!!
What beautiful art. I love when artists take something considered ugly and turn it into art. Wish I could have seen this while we were in Malaysia but happy to see it through your fantastic photos!
Yup it is. That’s call creativity and to be able to share this art with others to enjoy and appreciate. Looking forward to the next exhibition there.
Fascinating – how art can be created from old, decrepit and thrown away things. Everything can be beautiful.
yes.. totally agree with you. Anything can be turn into a beauty if one looks at it outside of the box. =)
Street art is beautiful and creative and can be pointed, political, funny, sad, scary and so many other things. The nature of the street art can tell you a lot about the culture of a city. I love it. Great photos.
Thanks!! I am still on the hunt for more street arts in Penang. Heard there are more coming up. =)
I always google street art locations whenever I visit a city. You’d be surprised how many people follow and love street art. Glad to see it so prolific over there.
Yup.. you are right. Guess in each city, they have their own street arts and it does get people’s attention to look and enjoy them. =)
Yes, and some of the artists travel all over the world so you can find similar street art in different cities. There’s a guy from Paris who does Pacman like mosaics and I’ve seen his work in India and other places. It’s very cool.
oh yes.. I saw that somewhere. That’s really cool too. =)
Always quality—simply good blogging. PWALLE
Thanks!!
