Turkey … a country with a long history and beautiful scenic views (20)

On the way out from Cappadocia, we stopped for lunch in an underground restaurant; Altinocak Restaurant which is an underground restaurant, carved into the rock that amazes it’s guests with it’s mystic and impressive architecture.

  1. I am so enjoying revisiting Turkey through your eye. Especially Cappadocia, as my camera was broken and I have no photos. The hotel we stayed in was carved out of the rocks, much like your restaurant.

  2. All these posts bring back memories from when I went there… we went to a similar underground restaurant one evening when we were there, and the underground city was a huge highlight for me. It was the thing I wanted to see in Turkey!
