Turkey … a country with a long history and beautiful scenic views (1)

The following posting will be on my trip to Turkey for a short holiday way back in Dec 2009; a 10 days 7 nights a trip that took me close to 3600km round trip.

Where I headed when I was in Turkey you may ask? Highlighted below in the boxes were the places I went; starting from Istanbul doing an anticlockwise direction and finally back to Istanbul.

Took off from KLIA and a journey that took 10 hours direct flight to Istanbul’s International Airport; Ataturk Airport

KLIA International Airport.

  1. Turkey is an amazing country, isn’t it? I went there last year. The Hagia Sofia and the Obelisque pictured in your photos were some of our many highlights. We – meaning me and my family – took a similar trek to yours; we started in Istanbul, went across to Ankara, down through Capadoccia and then made our way to Kas, on the coast, then headed up through Troy and Gallipoli before arriving back in Istanbul. It was brilliant!
