The 2nd stop was….Β  the Ling Sen Tong Temple. It is about 20min drive from the 1st cave temple. This place is more colourful and a lots more people; tourist, locals and worshipers too.

For this, I will not blog much but just enjoy the pictures.

    • Hi.. I actually stay in KL. You can take a bus from KL to Ipoh which will take bout 2 to 3 hrs. There are couple of hotels or motels in Ipoh which you can stay. In Ipoh, there are also a lots of nice food there too. How much to spend? Well it all depends whether you are going on a budget or not. I dun think you will need to spend a lot there as things are cheap (not as cheap as before though) to eat and to get around.

      • really? how about from SG to KL? how much do you think will we be spending per individual? Just trying to be a backpacker so we need to take the cheapest route. Do you have any idea? πŸ™‚

        • You can take a flight; Airasia; http://www.airasia.com to KL and then a bus to Ipoh or Firefly; http://www.fireflyz.com.my direct from Spore to Ipoh but it will be kinda of expensive unless you can get the cheap tickets during offer period. There are a lot of buses that go from KL to Ipoh from Puduraya in the KL city. Or alternative you can take a train from KL to Ipoh. So it depends on which kind of transport you would like to take. For accommodation, in Ipoh, there are motel to hotels which you can stay in. Food wise…. there is no problem in the city of Ipoh. Lots of it. =) I think spending in Ipoh would not cost much as the living cost is not as high as in KL. I guess the bulk of your cost would be the transport to and fro Ipoh and the next will be the lodging. I will not be able to give you a estimate as it depends on the traveler. I estimate expenses per day would be less than rm50 exclude transport and lodging.

          • Oh! Great! Thanks for that information.. We’ll try to seize our 10 days to spend in SG .. and hopefully we could visit Malaysia too πŸ™‚

          • No problem. Well.. u can move up from Sg – Melaka – KL – Ipoh – Penang Island – Langkawi Island. This is only the Western part of Peninsular Malaysia. On the eastern side.. u can go to places like Kuantan – Kota Baharu and Redang Island. Guess you will need more time in Malaysia. =)
